Upgrades to Aurelia
We are well underway with updates we are making to Aurelia. Here’s the list of the more substantial/larger projects:
washer/dryer install (Splendide)
replace anchor (Rocna Volcan, 70 pound)
replace backup anchor & chain (Mantus M2, 35 pound)
solar install (1200 watts from BogueRV - we will add more later if needed)
upgrade electrical to lithium batteries and larger inverter (Victron)
table in pilothouse install
add padding on beds & new bedding
replace lighting (moved to LED)
replace oven & stovetop (moved to electrical instead of propane - Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Pro)
drinking water filter install
additional freezer install
tv install
bike storage install
crane install
add Portland Pudgy (named Nugget) - see separate post on this (Jan 11)
add stripe(s) to boat (possibly)
weather station install
watermaker install (Schenker Zen 50)
replace toilet (moved to composting - Air Head Tejo)
Insty Connect install for internet access
cleaning everything (every drawer, cabinet, bilge hatch - everything!)
fiberglass repairs
replace engine exhaust hose
shaft seal replacement
replace shore power connections (moving to Smart Plugs)

I’m always hesitant when it comes to drilling holes in the boat!
We had 2 Aventon Level 2 bikes, but found that they were too big to fit on the boat the way we wanted to store them. So, we found a buyer for them and bought new Lectric XP Lite 2.0 bikes. Here is the storage setup on Aurelia.
