Exploring Sucia Island
On October 14th we left Anacortes and headed to Sucia Island. It is much quieter this time of year vs summer. We were one of 7 boats in Echo Bay.
We took Lia over to Matia Island to do the loop hike around the island. The whole island is a state park and is great to explore.
On October 15th we went for a longer hike on Sucia Island. It is also a state park with many camping spots and hikes.
We also explored in Lia and did some fishing.
Both evenings the Coast Guard pulled in to the bay with us.
